Centrally placed in the UK The Grand Prix is unique in the Winter Series with competitors racing on three separate race tracks. Classes are separated into Fast, Medium and Slow fleets sailing on one Windward/Leeward track, for fast, predominantly Asymmetric classes and two Trapezoid tracks for medium and slow handicap boats.
The event is open to a wide range of classes, including Multihulls and this year Foiling Classes will form an integral part of the Fast Fleet.
Three back to back races are scheduled with one discard with results based on average lap times.
Entry will be limited to the first 200 received before 20:00 Thursday 28th December 2017 after which entry will be closed. Late entries will not be accepted as we cannot break our entry limit.
After racing all competitors will be served a seasonal drink and mince pie in the club house bar.
