Another Garmin VIRB winner in advance of Round 4

Early entry prize draw winner announced for the Lord Birkett Memorial Trophy

The early entry cut-off for round 4 of the Garmin Summer Series was midnight on Sunday so on Monday a total of 133 entrants were put into the hat for the prize draw.  The name Noble rang a bell - not only due to the number of times it appeared on the entry list.

Brian Moreton, organiser of the iconic Ullswater event, wasn't quite sure how to break the news "how am I going to tell the Ullswater members that Dylan Noble has won the prize draw?!" Although tempting, a re-draw was out of the question ;)

The Noble name has appeared on the Lord Birkett Memorial trophy on more than one occassion and Anne Noble, this year sailing in a VX-One, even took the Ullswater Steamer's Trophy for being the 51st boat past the Birkett plaque in the Saturday race last year.  The skiff sailing family will be out in force for the event to take place this year over the weekend of 5th & 6th July.
