SailRacer is European Distributor for TackTracker and UK's No1 for GPS tracking at sailing events.

SailRacer has tracked over 400 races from Sail for Gold (Olympic and Paralympic Classes), World and Internationals (Dragons, 420 and 470s) National Championships (Dragon, J24s, Solos), International Qualifiers (420), and Windsurfers to club racing - plus a few specials like the Volvo Speed Challenge and Little Americas Cup. With our partners we have invested in over 400 GPS trackers and an ongoing development programme, that has seen live buoy by buoy scoring which captured the excitement and drama of the last race at the Dragon Edinburgh Cup, where five boats could have won and the championship going right down to the wire on the last leg.

As a company, we live by our tagline – Passionate About Sailing – and focus that passion as a leading provider of online services to sailors, sailing clubs, classes and events, offering administration and communication tools, entry systems, results, event management solutions and event websites. Our objective is to maximise the use of technology to leverage sailing, minimize administrative effort by event organizers, achieve seamless integration between systems, promote standardization and deliver value to the sport. SailRacer is in a unique position to be designed by IT professionals who also fully understand the needs of the sport. Our systems have all been successfully used across many events over the past years.

In the UK we have a long term contract with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA NGB)  to provide all their event sites plus coaching and squad applications etc.  The Portsmouth Yardstick Scheme is at the heart of club racing and SailRacer is playing a key role, allowing clubs to submit actual race data to our results system and then receive adjusted numbers specific to each club. With a growing amount of real race data available, PYs are becoming more dynamic and adjusted to suit different waters and boat developments
