SailFest Grows

with more than 20 classes looking to get involved and plans for shore side activities taking shape, SailFest is set to be the place to be this Summer Bank Holiday

This summer's Festival of Sail is gaining real momentum and looks set to be one of the major events over the August Bank Holiday. Over 20 Class Associations have expressed an interest in making SailFest one of their major events, with the Byte and Phantom classes quick to sign up.


New accommodation options have been added, from camping to quality self catering, some are filling up quickly, so book now as part of your entry.

The shore-side activities at SailFest are taking shape with Class Association displays, trade stands and workshops including how to improve your boat with top boat builder Richard Woof, who has built some very fast boats in his time including Rob Greenhalgh's world beating 18ft Skiff. If you were inspired by all the great sporting events last year, this is your chance to compete on the Olympic waters from the sailing venue of the 2012 Games. More...


Phantoms at SailFest
The Phantom Class will be including SailFest as part of their Southern Series and it will also represent their South Coast Championships. The team from Midland based Northampton will be challenging their soft southern compatriots for fleet dominance at the event.  More...
