THE IEMA PRESIDENT MR FRED MEYER VISITS HELSINKI

Mr. Fred Meyer, the President of IEMA visited Helsinki 13-15 March 2013 with Mr. Jean Fabre, the owner of Yqeam II. Despite the fact that the Baltic Sea is still covered with ice, the Organizing Committee is working full speed to make the regatta a success and already 13 boats from have entered the regatta. In addition to the Club, Mr. Meyer and Mr. Fabre inspected the Lindgren boatyard, where the boats will be launched as well as the official regatta hotel Scandic Grand Marina. Mr. Fred Meyer says ”The next event will be a fabulous event knowing that the Finnish organizers are fully behind us and bearing in mind the 2002 World Cup in Helsinki, which was the greatest success”.
