Dear 8mR sailors,

Helsingfors Segelsällskap (HSS) is proud
to invite all eight metre sailors around the World to sail the 2013 World Championships in Helsinki. As the organizing club HSS is working closely with the Finnish 8mR Associ- ation and the International 8mR Association IEMA to guarantee a first class event.

There will be an extensive and versatile program for the participants during the re- gatta. Besides exiting racing, we will provide a full and varied social program for the sailors and their families and friends.

The social activities will focus on the Clubhouse which is located on our little island Liuskasaari, five minutes minutes away from the mainland (the southern most harbour in Helsinki).

More information about the Race will be posted regularly at the race website at www.8mrworlds.fi. All needed information

about the venue, accommodation and the near surroundings of the club will soon be avail- able at the site. In addition there will be Race Ambassors helping you plan your trip to Hel- sinki at this end.

Our organizing committee is working on detailed plans for the event. Logistic support will be available and we will give you further information about your transportation op- tions in the next few months.
