The event will be held at Doha Sailing Club, Ras Abu Aboud, next to Marriot Hotel. These guide lines have been provided to make your stay comfortable however please do not hesitate to contact our staff if you need further clarification.

TRANSPORT:
Transport from your hotel to venue and back has been arranged by QSRF free of cost. However, bus schedules have been made which must be followed. In case you miss a routine bus, taxis and public transport is amply available. The bus schedules are as under:
Depart Hotel : 0800
Depart Hotel: 0830
Depart Venue : 1600
Depart Venue : 1700
Transport will also be available for sailors after the Protest Hearing.
CURRENCY:
The official currency is the Qatari Riyal (QR) which is divided in 100 Durham’s. The exchange rate has been set at fixed rate of US$ = QR 3.65.
LANGUAGE & RELIGION:
The official language of the country is Arabic but English is wide spoken and understood. Islam is the Official religion of the country, and Sharia (Islamic Law) is the principal source of legislation.

PRO SHOP:
For the convenience of visiting team sailing equipment small shop has been arranged by "Regatta Academy". Sailors can buy items right at the venue.
DOs / DON’Ts:
1. Do not throw trash while on the water.
2. Don’t be afraid to go out at night. Qatar is one of the safest places in the world.
3. Do bargain with shopkeepers – particularly in souq.
4. Do make sure you take plenty of water.
5. Do remember that tobacco control laws have been recently implemented in Qatar. Smoking in public places carry a penalty of QR.100/-.
6. Do ask permission from people before you take their photographs. Elderly people & most women object to being photographed.
7. Do avoid sensitive sites picture including member of police & armed forces.
8. Don’t feel shy to ask your query from Organizers.
