ISC is delighted to welcome the Mirrors back for the Nationals. We last hosted you all in 2012 and have happy memories of a great week, noted for some blowy days, and a lot of fun.
Please see the Notice of Race on this website for full details, but here is a heads up of dates.
Sunday 21st August. Arrival from 5.30. Supper available till 9pm
Monday 22nd August. Registration and Measurement. Afternoon Practice Race. Evening- Arrival supper
Tuesday 23rd August. 3 races. Evening social yet to be announced.
Wednesday 24th August. 3 races. Supper and Disco.
Thursday 25th August. 2 or 3 races, followed by Prizegiving. All timed to allow departure by 6pm.
There will be a limited number of MCA Mirrors available for charter. Details to follow.
Accommodation
Have you thought about staying at the club? Itchenor Sailing Club is the perfect place to stay for the Mirror Nationals. Watch the Mirror Nationals from the Beach.
At Itchenor we know what it is like to watch your friends and family go sailing. They get to have all the fun while you are left ashore. Well, this time it could be you having the fun watching them sail while you soak up the sunshine on the beach. For the Mirror Nationals the sailing area is planned to be very close to East Head Beach, part of the famous Blue Flag West Wittering beach. While we can’t promise it will be sunny, there is plenty to do in the area. So check out the event web site which has information on holiday things to do locally.
Spectator boat hire.
While there will be some room in members boats you can also book you own motor boat to watch the Mirror Nationals.
