Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July 2015, Hayling Island SC
Hayling Island is probably one of the premier dinghy sailing clubs in the UK offering a choice of sailing waters both in the harbour and outside with easy launching/recovery from the beach. The club has first class facilities including an on-site chandlery and a choice of accommodation as well as excellent changing, bar and restaurant facilities. Hayling Island has plenty of good accommodation including campsites, B & B etc.
Racing is scheduled to be run out in the bay but, in the event of poor conditions, races will be run in the harbour. Seven races are scheduled:
- 2 on Friday;
- 3 on Saturday;
- and 2 on Sunday.
A discard will apply if 4 or more races are completed.
The entry fee of £90 will include a meal on Saturday evening. Using on-line entry greatly reduces the administration for class volunteers with a SailWave file being prepared and supplied directly to the hosting club. A small additional charge applies to cover merchant fees and website administration.
We are currently seeking sponsorship to ensure that we maintain our 50+ participation. Now is the time to book time off to ensure that you are part of the main event of the season.
