It was stalemate today on Upper Lake Garda for the 500 athletes involved until Sunday in the second leg of the Eurosaf Champions Sailing Cup, organised by Fraglia Vela Riva, together with Lega Navale Riva, Circolo Vela Arco, Circolo Surf Torbole and Fraglia Vela Malcesine.
Just when the boats were starting to go offshore to reach their prospective regatta courses, a storm broke out in the large valley north of Riva del Garda bringing with it some rain thus blocking the usual warm wind that starts to blow after lunchtime. Races start tomorrow morning at 8.00 in order to take advantage of the probable northern wind.
