Techno Sailors prepare

Rainy start with forecasted winds up to 7knot. Only part of it true. RAIN. when we arrived to the Jingliu lake after 1 hour 40 min trip by bus from olympic village it was still raining but there was about 15knots of wind.

Nice club with everything necessary ready in the place and smiling volunteers.

Sometime things get little longer but after equipment draw and basic registration all present got their brand new boards and started to put up the foostraps, trim systems etc.

Winner of the rigging competitions was Mack Van den Eerenbeemt ARU 11. First sailor (dinghy, or techno) out on the lake.
Had some fun in his favorite conditions. quote "little gusty but it was fun. I trained a lot in light wind conditions recently but I would definitely prefered the to have planing conditions for racing" said Mack. Next out was the ISR team  "they did not sail for 4 days and I they had to let some steam out. " said Ronie Meir who is the most sucesfull coach of previous YOG with 1st and 4th. Both NOY and YOHAV had nice 30 min session before getting back on the bus and heading to Olymic village. All agreed that rain would not be a problem for next days if the wind stays like today. We will see what tomorrow brings.
