Getting Ready for Day 1

Everyone from the organisation is getting ready for the first racing day at the Delta Lloyd Regatta 2013.

The first meetings have already been taken place this morning. Arjen Rahusen of the organising committee is looking forward to the day. “The weather conditions are a bit rainy now. And we are wating for the wind to come. But a nice thing about Medemblik is that there is most of time wind.”

In the city centre of Medemblik is a special opening scheduled today at 12.00 o’clock for the people of Medemblik. The mayor of Medemblik will be there for the official opening. Most important for today is that we will be able to get on the water and get some races started here at Medemblik.
