Based on feedback received after the 2013 470 European Championships in Formia, Italy, we have sightly tweaked the format for the 470 World Championships in La Rochelle, France, where racing gets underway on 5 August.

The number of races in the Finals Stage has been increased from 6 to 7, and we have revised the scoring in the Medal Stage back to the usual scoring of 1st place = 2 points, 2nd place = 4 points and so on ...
