420 World and 470 Junior World Champions headline in Pwllheli
420 World and 470 Junior World Champions are set to descend on Pwllheli to contest their 2013 Junior European Championship titles.

Both the men and women Junior World Champions, who were crowned on 2 August in La Rochelle, France will be contesting the Junior Europeans Championship title this year. Spain's Jordi Xammar/Joan Herp in the 470 Men and France's Maelenn Lemaitre/Aloise Retornaz in the 470 Women are amongst the strong line-up at the Junior Europeans.

The 420 World Championships concluded in Valencia, Spain on 30 July and whilst the newly crowned Open Champions, Xavier Antich/Pedro Terrones of Spain will not be competing as they are too old, the girl's Champions Annabel Cattermole/Bryony Bennett-Lloyd from Great Britain will be aiming for the double titles.
420 Ladies Worlds - Medallists
Diogo Pereir/Pedro Cruz (POR), the 420 boys bronze medallists and Ilaria Paternoster/Benedetta Di Salle (ITA) the 420 girls bronze medallists from the SailFirst ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships are also in the mix.
The 420 and 470 Junior European Championships kick off Wednesday 14 August with two days of registration and equipment inspection, ahead of the practice race at 1500 hours Thursday 15 August.
Racing gets underway on Friday 16 August with the 420 fleet scheduled to race 12 races, and the 470s contesting 11 races then the final medal race, with both Championships concluding on 22 August.
