Tahe British Dragon Association is delighted and honoured to be hosting the 2013 Dragon World Championship at Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy - home of the sailing regattas of the 2012 Olympiad.

 With its outstanding purpose built regatta centre, World renowned sailing waters, plentiful accommodation and all the delights of Weymouth's historic fishing harbour, the rolling Dorset countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site all on the doorstep, its the perfect combination of regatta and holiday venue.

Ferry, road, air and rail links are all excellent and our team is ready and waiting to help you plan your trip and ensure your regatta runs as smoothly as possible.  We've attempted to provide all the information you might need for planning through this website but if you have any questions or need further information please don't hesitate to contact me personally on martin@themakeys.co.uk.

Don't forget that in the build up to the 2013 World Championship we will also be hosting the Dragon UK South Coast Championship and Edinburgh Cup, for the British Open Championship, in Weymouth from 23-28 June 2013.

We look forward to welcoming the International Dragon World Championship competitors in Weymouth from 5-13 September 2013.
