Earl Mountbatten Hospice

For nearly 30 years the Earl Mountbatten Hospice has been caring for Island residents with a range of life limiting illnesses. We now care for around 1300 patients every year. We were and remain the only hospice on the Isle of Wight.

For nearly 30 years the Earl Mountbatten Hospice has been caring for Island residents with a range of life limiting illnesses. We now care for around 1300 patients every year.  We were and remain the only hospice on the Isle of Wight.

Our hospice cares for patients in the day unit, the in-patient ward, the out-patient clinic and through our Hospice at Home service. We also have a counselling and bereavement service.

Some patients come to us for many years, some for a few weeks or days and some for just a few hours. However long we care for our patients we combine professionalism with compassion and embrace the whole family at a time when they are vulnerable and afraid.

To provide this care that the Island needs so badly we must raise in excess of £2.2 million each year. The Island community is wonderful. Everyone is so supportive and we promise that every penny that is raised is both greatly appreciated and wisely spent.
